#10 Play Around with Image Generators

Really, I must be getting old, because most of this seems so silly.

But here is my project:

See my project above -- with the assistance of Margaret A. -- Yea, Margaret! and thanks.

#9 Finding Feeds

All of these feeds look like USA Today over and over again. The only one that looked "normal" in terms of finding feeds was Syndic8.com. I did search "craft", "craft demos" and "craft ideas" without much success. I do feel rushed to plow them now (more so now more than ever), since I do not have much time remaining to cross the 2.0 finishline.

Again my mantra is this has no relevance to me, although it is good to know about this ever expanding internet evolution.

#8 Make Life Simple...

Ok, kids. I don't know about anyone else, but I have a headache now. Number 8 is tough. Again I just don't see how this will fit into my life on a daily basis. I can't keep up with my metalsmithing thread - Ganoskin -- I'm only behind about 4 months. So I just can't imagine keeping up with all these blogs. aaACCKK.

I feel like I'm at the Martha Stewart computer school and I am failing. Don't get me wrong, I won't quit, but it is difficult wading through the sites and terminology.

Looking back, it is also appears that all I do is whine. Who wants to read this? Not me. Just voicing my frustration.... sad face here...

Blog Post About Anything Technology Related

Technological awareness is a full-time job. You could spend hours on the internet learning about this "stuff". Hence, the need for magazines like Wired among others.

I choose not to devote much time to staying current on technological issues. I try to keep abreast with newspaper articles and skimming the Sunday newspaper ads to see what is new. I don't have a digital camera. I barely know how to use my cell phone. I have never taken a picture with my cell phone, even though it has the capability. My computer is seven years old.

Admittedly, I am one of those pathetic parents that asks their kid how to do something on the computer when I get stuck. Although, now that my daughter is away at school, I have to fend for myself a bit more now.

Fd Toys -- Mashups Post

OK. Call me old-fashioned, but I just don't get the thrill of doing this on the computer. It is just playing ith techno-toys/software/mashups. I already feel like I don't have enough time in my life to play as it is. I would rather mess with my hands-on crafts and sew than do this. I suppose it is all a preference. I don't see how it makes my life easier to organize, communicate or craft. Although, it is cool to learn about this -- learning is Always good -- so far, it is just not for me.
